INFORMATION WAR AS AN OBJECT OF SCIENTIFIC REFLEX. POLYPARADIGMAL APPROACH

Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the complex phenomenon of information warfare. The article outlines certain argued concepts of information wars. The author focuses on the theoretical and methodological positions of scientists belonging to various scientific schools and defines the information warfare through specific aspects of the problem. The author considers the terminological apparatus of the problem of "information warfare" as a technology that has an impact on public opinion. Having taken different approaches to the study and definition of the concept of information wars, the author came to the conclusion that information warfare, within the framework of scientific research, can be considered at different levels of knowledge: as a social phenomenon; as a field of political conflicts; as a special form of political conflict; as an element of the system of instruments of political regulation (an information policy tool). Within each of these levels of consideration, information warfare is explored within the framework of its own scientific hypothesis. The poliparadigm approach used in the work reveals and accentuates thematic content aspects of public life, which are potential objects of the threat of information attacks. This gives the possibility of forming a comprehensive understanding of the individual aspects of the phenomenon under study
