INNER SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF FARMERS’ HOUSEHOLDS

Abstract

The aim of the article was to identify the socio-economical conditions of famers’ households economical security in 2013, according to farmers’ households classification, basing on the level of needs’ safisfaction, measured with the size of social minimum cart, using the Classification and Regression Trees. The research was conducted, basing on raw data from Households Budget survey, made by Central Stastistical Office in 2013. The research showed that the main determinants of the level of needs’ satisfaction in farmers’ households were: household size and the level of education of houseolds’ head. In 2013, the highest level of economic security characterised housholds, counting 1, 2 or 3 members, with the head of household, having at least medium level of education. The lowest level of economic security characterised housholds, counting 6 or more members, with the head of household, having basic or medium level of education.<br/><br/>
