INNOVATION THEORIES: DIRECTIONS AND SPECIFICS UNDER THE ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATIONS

Abstract
The basic directions and specifics of innovation theories in the context of economic transformations taking place in the global economy have been investigated. The common features and controversial issues of several innovation theories have been justified. The modification of certain objective economic categories in innovation sphere (entrepreneurial profit of innovator, risk carrier) and their reflection in modern innovation theories have been shown.
