INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS IN THE COMPANY’S COMPETITIVENESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

The main features of the modern economic environment are the intensification of competition between national and foreign producers, the emergence of new types of risks in the entrepreneurial activity, which have not only economic but also social and political nature, periodic fluctuation of financial markets that change the speed and direction of capital movements, etc. In such a changing environment, it is particularly important to ensure in the effectiveness of business entities, the confirmation of what is an increase in the market value of the enterprise, which becomes possible due to the formation of its competitive innovative business model. After all, one of the main factors of ensuring the efficiency of an enterprise and an increase in its competitiveness – is its ability to effectively manage the innovations. It is known that today, there are two approaches of determining the essence of the notion “business model” (focused on business processes/roles, this approach is directed inside the enterprise and focused on the value/client (an approach aimed at the external environment of the enterprise). As a result of this search, it was determined that the main advantages of innovative business models in the management system of the organization are the traditional tools of competitive struggle. Unlike the classical methods which involve innovations in one or two fields in the economic mechanism of the enterprise (for example, in price or technology policy), the introduction of new business models leads to significant changes in most of its elements, including the choice of the target consumer needs, the mechanism of profit management, and a way of their stable combination. It is determined that the conceptual business models of business entities are built on the foundation, which describes the priorities of these subjects in creating unique competitive advantages and key factors of the business success. The detailed analysis and evaluation of the business components structure of PJSC “Poltava Automobile Unit Plant” was carried out in order to characterize the state of the company’s normal level and determine the state of the company’s security level against the internal and external negative influences. The obtained results testify about the need for business model reconstruction and work on specific weaknesses, components that were identified in the research process.
