INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT & INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP IN FORMATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY: ESSENCE, PERSPECTIVES

Abstract
The questions devoted to the problem of the knowledge economy formation are considered. It is substantiated that the transition to a new qualitative state is directly related to the increasing role of theoretical knowledge of the «new management»: innovative, intellectual, creative and strategic management. At the center of the analysis are, on the one hand, the theoretical aspects of the «new management», and on the other hand, the practice of forming knowledge about innovative leadership as a new form of rela-tionships and relationships that evolve under the growing influence of the «knowledge» factor in the modern economy. In the article the main historical views of scientists on the essence of leadership and management are considered.
