INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL AS AN INTEGRATED PART OF SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
The article deals with approaches to the definition of the essence of the concept of «innovation» and «innovation potential». The main structural blocks according to which the components of the innovation potential are determined. The external and internal barriers of influence on the innovative potential of the enterprise are determined. The main methodological approaches to management of innovation potential are also considered. It has been found that the introduction and use of innovations and general innovation activity is the key to increasing the competitiveness of both the company itself and the whole country as a whole and, accordingly, a significant factor for achieving the planned indicators of production and marketing and financial policy.
