Innowacyjność województw Polski po przystąpieniu do UE na tle regionów europejskich

Abstract
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie kształtowania się poziomu innowacyjności województw Polski na tle pozostałych regionów europejskich po przystąpieniu do Unii Europejskiej. Innowacyjność zmierzono za pomocą Syntetycznego Wskaźnika Innowacyjności Regionalnej (SWIR) w oparciu o zmienne proponowane w Regionalnej Tablicy Innowacyjności dostępne w bazie Eurostatu. Analizę regionalną przeprowadzono wg klasyfikacji NUTS 2. W pierwszej części artykułu poprzedzającej badania empiryczne zwrócono uwagę na istotę innowacyjności w wymiarze regionalnym oraz na główne aspekty ją kształtujące.
