The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the inquiry based learning on the skills of the prospective teachers for the laboratory applications I course activities related to the developed chemistry experiments using semi-experimental method which is one of the experimental methods. This study was carried out with the students chosen randomly experimental (n=29) and control (n=29) attending to the 2nd grade of Class Teacher Department of Amasya Education Faculty. At the beginning and the end of the research, the scales 'Science education inquiry based learning scale' and 'Inquiry based learning skills perception scale towards science' were used. The obtained data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.00 packet program. At the end of the research, there is a meaningful difference in favor of the experimental group related to the inquiry based learning science education
