ІНСТИТУЦІЙНО-ОРГАНІЗАЦІЙНА ЕВОЛЮЦІЯ ПОЛІТИЧНИХ ПАРТІЙ: МЕТОДОЛОГІЧНІ ЗАСАДИ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ

Abstract
Трансформація інституту політичних партій, зокрема їхньої організаційної структури, що відбувається в сучасному суспільстві, потребує належного наукового осмислення. Відтак у статті на основі інтегративної теорії партійних змін К. Джанди та Р. Хармела побудовано методологічну стратегію дослідження інституційноорганізаційної еволюції політичних партій, яка є придатною для її застосування в контексті аналізу процесу організаційної модифікації політичних партій на пострадянському просторі, у тім числі й в Україні. The problem of analyzing the qualitative reformatting of traditional political institutions as a consequence of a fundamental transformation of the essential characteristics of society, its political structure is topical research task of modern political science. The important direction of this type of scientific research is reflection the changes, undergone by the political parties as an integral part of modern polities, particularly through the prism of the transformation of their (party) organizational structure. The identified problem is of particular importance in the context of changing perceptions about the nature of democracy itself, which takes place in the transition societies to a new, post-industrial (postmodern, post-informational) stage of development. All of this requires appropriate scientific understanding and developing effective methodological strategy research of institutional and organizational evolution of political parties. Therefore, based on an “integrated theory of party goals and party change” by K. Janda and R. Harmel, the article substantiates that theoretically consistent and empirically adequate methodological strategy research of institutional and organizational evolution of political parties should be based on the following interrelated principles: 1) formulation of conceptual apparatus: defining and clarifying basic categories used in the study; 2) consideration and understanding of the organizational evolution of political parties as a process that is determined by the cumulative effect of exogenous and endogenous factors; 3) determination of exogenous factors and the nature of their impact on organizational modification political parties (in the most general context this position is revealed through the prism of understanding the specific socio-historical context, that determines and where is changing the said institution, and also features of the political regime, in which there are parties); 4)determination of endogenous factors and the nature of their impact on organizational transformation of parties (ascertain, first of all, features of the balance of power and the distribution of power between different groups (fractions) within the party, and also the efficiency parties in realization of their goals, that recorded in the party and election programs); 5) determination of national (regional) specifics action of exogenous and endogenous factors of organizational evolution of political parties.
