Institutional services of child care as a tool of policy in supporting working parents

Abstract
The paper examines the institutional child care services in Ukraine as the most important conditionfor a successful family and work balance. In particular, the author examines the availability ofstate kindergartens, the quality of their services, and conflicts between mothers’ working time andkindergartens opening time as a factor that complicates working parents’ daily child care routine.
