Instrument validation to determine the relationship between alcohol consumption and its school performance in students university students

Abstract
Introduction: There are supported studies on alcohol consumption, however the university students are a risk group that need to be evaluated constantly, where situations or needs are identified. Objective: Validate the instruments to determine alcohol consumption and the relationship with performance school in university students. Materials and Methods: This research corresponds to a type of non experimental research, with a quantitative approach and qualitative, descriptive correlating, prospective cross-sectional. Test is performed pilot with a random sample of 15 students, who are enrolled in the night shifts; to establish the validity, relevance and coherence to determine the degree of reliability endorsed by expert judgments. Results: For the first instrument, a reliability score of 93.82 is obtained, in Cronbach's Alpha a reliability coefficient of 0.96. The reliability of the second instrument showed an average of 92 and for each factor: Emotional state a percentage of 92 was obtained; Education 93.33 and Social relationship 91. Conclusion: The instrument has been approved for its reliability and validity, being suitable to be applied to the sample that represents this research
