INSTRUMENTAL CHARACTERIZATION OF THE CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM IN CHILDREN WITH DIFFERENT FORMS OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

Abstract
This study presents an assessment of instrumental characteristics of the cardiovascular system in children with different forms of arterial hypertension. The investigation included patients with essential and secondary hypertension, who underwent repeated blood pressure monitoring, electrocardiography (ECG), and echocardiography. Structural and functional cardiac alterations, as well as blood pressure profiles during different periods of the day, were analyzed. The results revealed intergroup differences in several parameters, underscoring the necessity of a differentiated approach to the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular status in children with hypertension of varying etiology.
