Interactive TV: A step ahead for imparting education in India

Abstract

“The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.” Abstract-Adaptation of new teaching methodology is still a big issue in Indian context. The chalk and board method is found suitable for pedagogy. The problem of the possible lack of engagement by learners within traditional learning environments can possibly be improved by the utilization of new technologies. Interactive TV can be a solution to spread education across the country with its attractive features. In this article author is trying to elucidate the magnitude of Interactive TV as a helping hand to extend the scope of education and also to catch the attention of the learners in an innovative mode.
