International conference in functional analysis dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Stefan Banach
Journal Title: Математичні Студії - Year 2017, Vol 48, Issue 2
Abstract
On March 30, 2017, the international mathematical community celebrated the 125th birthday of Stefan Banach, the famous Lviv mathematician, one of the founders of functional analysis. Dedicated to this anniversary, the International Conference in Functional Analysis was held in Lviv on September 18–23, 2017. The conference was organized by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in cooperation with Institute of Mathematics NAS of Ukraine (Kyiv), Lviv Polytechnic National University and Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics (Lviv).

On the l-index boundedness of some composition of functions
It is suggested that for an entire function f the function F(z)=f(q(1−z)n), n∈N, is of bounded l-index with l(|z|)=β(1−|z|)n+1, β>1, if and only if f is of bounded index.

Asymptotic properties of the impulse perturbation process under Levy approximation conditions with the point of equilibrium of the quality criterion
For the system of stochastic differential equations with Markov switchings and impulse disturbance in the conditions of Levy approximation in the conditions of a single point of equilibrium of the quality criterion, limi...
Sλ(I) -convergence of complex uncertain sequence
This study introduces the λI-statistically convergence concepts of complex uncertain sequences: λI% -statistically convergence almost surely (Sλ(I).a.s.), λI-statistically convergence in measure, λI-statistically converg...
Rings with the Kazimirsky condition and rings with projective socle
We construct the theory of diagonalizability for matrices over Bezout rings of stable range 1 with the Kazimirsky condition. It is shown that a ring of stable range 1 with the right (left) Kazimirsky condition is an elem...
