INTERNATIONAL TOURISM: EVOLUTION AND TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Historical retrospective, current state and tendencies of development of international tourism are analyzed. The importance of international tourism for the growth of the world economy is substantiated, taking into account its different role in the economies of individual countries. The dependence of the increase in the number of international tourist arrivals on population growth and world GDP has been studied and established.
