INTERNATIONAL TRENDS ON REFORM PUBLIC FINANCE IN PRINCIPLES OF CONSOLIDATION AND LESSONS FOR UKRAINE

Abstract
The theoretical aspects and practical reform of policy fiscal consolidation in various countries were investigated. The author explains the importance of fiscal consolidation. The positive and negative effects of the consolidation in the processes of stabilization of public finances and performance factors of economic development were identified. It was determined that the consolidation plan should be aimed at restoring fiscal sustainability, achieving the optimal level of public debt and indicators of economic reform programs to ensure economic growth.
