Intersemiotic expression of horror in multimodal discourse system

Abstract
<p>The research focuses on explaining and delineation the notions of concept and emotional concept. Emotionality and the ways of its actualization in horror movies via iconicity principles in multimodal environment. It is proved that iconicity is a powerful tool for emotional impact, which at the same time functioning with the language and compensates language means, thereby causing emotional resonance between addresser and addressee (director and spectator)</p>
