Intervals of certain classes of Z-matrices
Journal Title: Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications - Year 2014, Vol 34, Issue 1
Abstract
Let A and B be M-matrices satisfying A ≤ B and J = [A, B] be the set of all matrices C such that A ≤ C ≤ B, where the order is component wise. It is rather well known that if A is an M-matrix and B is an invertible Mmatrix and A ≤ B, then aA + bB is an invertible M-matrix for all a, b > 0. In this article, we present an elementary proof of a stronger version of this result and study corresponding results for certain other classes as well. Keywords: interval matrix, M-matrix, N-matrix, N0-matrix, nonnegativity. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: 15A48, 15A45.

Completely Archimedean Semirings
In this paper we give a structural description of completely Archimedean semirings which is an extension of the structure theorem of completely Archimedean semigroups.
BOOLEAN FILTERS IN PSEUDO-COMPLEMENTED ALMOST DISTRIBUTIVE LATTICES
In this paper we have introduced the concept of Boolean filters in a pseudo-complemented Almost Distributive Lattice (pseudo-complemented ADL) and studied their properties. Finally, a Boolean filter is characterized in t...
ON THE GENUS OF THE CAYLEY GRAPH OF A COMMUTATIVE RING
Let R be a commutative ring with non-zero identity and let Z(R) be the set of all zero-divisors. The Cayley graph CAY(R) of R is the simple undirected graph whose vertices are elements of R and two distinct vertices x an...
DEVELOPED ZARISKI TOPOLOGY-GRAPH
In this paper, we introduce the developed Zariski topology-graph associated to an R-module M with respect to a subset X of the set of all quasi-prime submodules of M and investigate the relationship between the algebraic...
IF-FILTERS OF PSEUDO-BL-ALGEBRAS
Characterizations of IF-filters of a pseudo-BL-algebra are established. Some related properties are investigated. The notation of prime IF- filters and a characterization of a pseudo-BL-chain are given. Homomorphisms of...
