INTRODUCING A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR BONE METASTASES CONTROL
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2015, Vol 10, Issue 8
Abstract
In this paper after investigating a specific drug to prevent progressing of bone metastases; a new mathematical model is introduced for affection of this drug. Bone metastases (secondary tumor) occurs when cancer cells spread from their original site to a bone. Some types of cancer such as breast cancer particularly spread to a bone. The aim of this paper is to express an optimal control model for drug treatment that minimizes the amount of used drug while the size of secondary tumor should be less as possible. The model is described as a nonlinear partial differential equations.

Generalization of a fixed point theorem of Suzuki type in complete convex space
The aim of this paper is to generalize a fixed point theorem given by Popescu[20]. We also complement and extend some very recent results proved by Suzuki [T. Suzuki, A generalized Banach contraction principle...
Role of Conservation Laws in the Development of Nonequilibrium and Emergence of Turbulence
It turns out that the equations of mathematical physics, which consist equations of the conservation laws for energy, linear momentum, angular momentum, and mass, possess additional, hidden, properties that enables one t...
On a-Kenmotsu manifolds satisfying flatness conditions
The main interest of the present paper is to study α-Kenmotsu manifolds that satisfy some certain tensor conditions where a is a smooth function defined by dα∧η=0 on Mâ¿. In particular, the flatness conditions of a...
A New Technique to Solve the Instant Insanity Problem
Instant Insanity [1] consists of four cubes, each of whose six faces are colored with one of the four colors: red, blue, white, and green. The object is to stack the cubes in such a way that each of the four co...
Model Higgs Bundles in Exceptional Components of the Sp(4,R)-Character Variety
We establish a gluing construction for Higgs bundles over a connected sum of Riemann surfaces in terms of solutions to the Sp(4,R)-Hitchin equations using the linearization of a relevant elliptic operato...
