Introduction to a family of Thukral k-order method for finding multiple zeros of nonlinear equations
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2017, Vol 13, Issue 3
Abstract
A new one-point k-order iterative method for finding zeros of nonlinear equations having unknown multiplicity is introduced. In terms of computational cost the new iterative method requires k+1 evaluations of functions per iteration. It is shown that the new iterative method has a convergence of order k.

Oscillatory and Asymptotic Behavior of Second Order Neutral Difference Equations with Maxima
In this paper, we deal with the oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of second order neutral difference equations with maxima of the form† (an∆ (xn + pnxn−k)) + qn max [n−m,n] x α s = 0, n ∈ N...
NONPARAMETRIC TEST FOR UBACT CLASS OF LIFE DISTRIBUTION BASED ON U-STATISTIC
Based on U-statistic, testing exponentially versus used better than aged in convex tail ordering (UBACT) class of life distribution is introduced for complete and cen-sored data. Convergence of the proposed statistic to...
Generalized closed sets in ditopological texture spaces with application in rough set theory
In this paper, the counterparts of generalized open (g-open) and generalized closed (g-closed) sets for ditopological texture spaces are introduced and some of their characterizations are obtained. Some characterizations...
PSEUDO-RC-INJECTIVE MODULES
The main purpose of this work is to introduce and study the concept of pseudo-rc-injective module which is a proper generalization of rc-injective and pseudo-injective modules. Numerous properties and characterizations h...
Approximation to the Mean and Variance of the Modified Moments Estimator of the Shape Parameter of Weibull Distribution
In this paper we consider the Weibull distribution of two parameters , since has been widely used as a model in many areas of applications. Properties of the distribution are introduced . Estimation of the distribution p...
