Inventions of the 21st century used by a local government unit in Australia

Abstract
The article below will describe the activity of local self-governments. Next, the classification of reforms that territorial self-governments can implement to modernize their activities will be presented. The rest of the article presents a number of modern solutions that Australian self-governments have implemented in recent years. The activities of these units consisted in creating modern solutions for the local region. Modern solutions for the region have been introduced thanks to modern technology and the Internet. The examples described in the article below are, for example, local government websites, a communication network for residents in the event of a disaster, the creation of open databases.
