Investigating sustainable development obstacles in front of mountainous village settlements (Case study: Mountainous Villages, Bandpey District, Babol Township)

Abstract
Nowadays, sustainable development is considered as a new strategy to form, improve and sustain rural settlements which is emphasized by plan makers and responsible to provide an appropriate milieu for balanced and multifunctional development and the fundamental reason for increasing attention to the policies of rural sustainable development are the finite facilities and infinite humankind's requirements. The method of this research is descriptive-analytic and its statistics society is mountainous villages in Eastern Bandpey District in Babol Township. After identification and designation of coefficients, a questionnaire was regulated and with the use of Cochran Formula, 230 rural families are selected as sample population, and they were asked some questions and finally the data is calculated and analyzed with the use of Factorial Analysis Test in SPSS software. The attained results from Factorial Analysis Test show that different variants which scrutinized are classified into five factors and appointed 79/62 percent of total variants and the remained 20/38 percent was related to factors which are external to this research, and the most prominent obstacles toward to mountainous village's development hieratically are: infrastructural, economical, organizational-conveniences, social-cultural and environmental obstacles.
