Investigation and analysis of 4142 alloy steel machining capabilities using neural networks
Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 8, Issue 12
Abstract
Machining capabilities is one of the affective and important parameters in producing metal pieces, especially the required pieces in industry, which alloy steel 4142 is not an exception either. The valuable criterion for machining, is machining forces and surface coarseness which has been machined. In this research we want to check the machining capability of alloy steel 4142 and also forging the relationship between input parameters(shear velocity, progress rate ,shear depth) with output parameters(coarseness of the surface, shear forces) to gain a favorable condition of shear that we could reduce the machining time and costs.Choosing the range of appropriate machining parameters by using trial and error method takes a lot of time and cost and the machined surface may not have the favorable quality, therefore by modelling the outputs of machining process through artificial neutral networks theory, and practical tests to approve the results of modelling outputs (consumed forces, surface coarseness), and by experimental study of the input parameters (shear velocity ,progress rate ,shear depth), the appropriate condition of modelling is suggested.

Culture clash in books of teaching Persian language to English speakers
Despite the importance of communicative competence in foreign language education, achieving language skills without proper recognition of culture is unstable and dysfunctional and inevitably inter-cultural differences be...
Uv irradiation effects on seed germination and growth, protein content, peroxidase and protease activity in redbean
Ultraviolet radiation is energetically capable of disrupting proteins. Ultraviolet radiations are divided into three bands included UV-A (320-390 nm), UV-B (280-320 nm) and UV-C(254-280nm). Several studies have indicated...
The impact of teaching absent consonants on Iranian female intermediate EFL learners’ pronunciation
Teaching pronunciation to learners of English as a foreign language has always been a controversial issue. Some believe that it is useless to teach pronunciation in isolation and explicitly. Some others believe that the...
Application of Response Surface Modeling and Central Composition Design for Removal of Lead from Aqueous Solution Using Prosopis Stephanian Fruits
In this study feasibility of powder of Prosopis Stephanian’s fruit for removal of lead from aqueous solution was investigated. Prosopis Stephanian grows in different parts of Iran. This plant is a brush spieces that grow...
Generation of clones with higher resistance to tetracycline and chloramphenicol from ciprofluoxacin resistant Escherichia coli mutants
Resistance to ciprofloxacin is mostly associated with mutations in gyrA or marR or a combination of both in Escherichia coli. Mutation in marR reduces the accumulation of ciprofloxacin due to activation of AcrAB-TolC, a...
