Investigation of the demand for electric energy from the domestic consumers on the market of Ukraine

Abstract
In 2017, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada adopted Law No. 2019–VIII «About the electricity market». To understand what consequences this will have, it would be interesting to formulate a general pricing model on the basis principles of a free market, as provided by the Law. To do this, it is necessary to investigate separately all processes taking place in this segment of the economy The subject of the study is the process of electricity consumption by a household consumer group in the Ukrainian market. The purpose of the article is the study and analyze electricity consumption by household consumers for the construction of an econometric model of this process. Conclusions: In this article, we had analyzed the demand from the household consumer group. The demand’s elasticity at a price (tariff) was found, the statistical significance of the coefficients of the autoregressive model was established and the last was formulated.
