Investigation of the relationship between the parameters of the mining method

Abstract

The article deals with the question of establishing the relationship between the width of the work platform and the length of the active front of mining operations in the careers that provide the normative reserve of ore and its influence on the productivity of ore. The analysis of researches in the field of determination of the production capacity of the quarry and reserves of the ore ready to be extracted is carried out. It is shown that existing methods of determining the productivity of a career for mining capabilities take into account only the length of the active front of mining operations, while the width of the work platform and its impact on the length of the front are not taken into account. In the process of determining the width of the work platform with a given performance of the career in the ore takes into account only the length of the front of the mine at the time of evaluation. Whereas, the impact of the length of the active front of mining operations is not taken into account. The example of the indicative career shows the influence of the width of the working platform, the length of the active front of the mining operations, as well as the size of the ore reserves ready to be extracted. The results of investigations of the change in the length of the active front of mining operations are given, depending on the increase in the width of the work platform with different values of the productivity of the ore career. It is substantiated that in determining the productivity of a career in ore, the length of the active front of the mining works and the width of the work platform should not be taken into account separately, but through a lens of their interconnection.
