Investments in special economic zones in Poland

Abstract
The article discusses the performance of the special economic zones in terms of investments that were made in the period of 2009 - by the end of the third quarter of 2012. First discussed the functioning of special economic zones in Poland. Then, the rules state aid, tax exemptions and the conditions to be met by companies investing in the zones. A well defined concept of a new investment, a large project or limit the size of regional aid. At the end of the investments discussed incurred in areas with particular emphasis on the size of investment expenditure and the structure of investment by country of origin of the capital in 2011.
