INVITATION TO THE "Garden of Songs of Ivan Karabitsa": a review of the monograph by L. Kiyanovsky "The Garden of Songs of Ivan Karabitsa"

Abstract
Із такою поетичною назвою нещодавно побачила світ нова монографія Любові Кияновської [1], присвячена одному з найцікавіших українських композиторів ХХ століття – Івану Карабицю. Серед ак-цій уже 24 Форуму видавців у Львові – свого роду Піфійських ігор літературного компендіуму України, традиційно сповненого небувалого розмаїття – особливий інтерес та жваве зацікавлення у музикантів завжди викликає насамперед друкована продукція, пов'язана з музичним мистецтвом. Що ж, такі ви-дання – нечасте явище на видноколі видавничої справи, тому кожен крок "назустріч музиці" цінується на вагу золота. А поява монографічних праць, присвячених творчості композиторських персоналій, та ще й представників української музичної культури, викликає навіть певний ажіотаж. Ім'я авторки нової книги добре відоме та шановане – доктор мистецтвознавства, професор, довголітній завідувач кафедри історії музики ЛНМА імені М. Лисенка, знаний музикознавець сучасності – Любов Кияновська. Їй нале-жить кілька сотень наукових та популярних статей, підручників та монографій, кожна з яких становить неабияку наукову цінність. Варто згадати фундаментальну "Стильову еволюцію галицької музичної культури", популярний підручник "Українська музична культура" та низку монографій, присвячених творчості М. Скорика, М. Колесси, о. Й. Кишакевича, В. Авдієвського. Праці Л. Кияновської завжди ви-різняються високим інтелектуалізмом, надзвичайною ерудицією, глибоким і вдумливим ставленням до обраної теми, своєрідністю науково-мистецьких прочитань.
