Abstract
The prospective entrepreneur should carefully calculate the profitability of the investment before starting the business. Helpful indicators can help in this task. They will show no only if the investment is profitable, but also when it will start to bring profit. Investment financing can come from two different sources – own or foreign. Both of these sources have both pros and cons. The future entrepreneur should analyze which source will be more beneficial for him. W artykule omówiono wskaźniki, które przyszły przedsiębiorca powinien przeanalizować przed rozpoczęciem działalności gospodarczej. Wskaźniki te pokazują, czy, kiedy i jakie zyski przyniesie inwestycja. Przedstawiono również źródła finansowania, z których przedsiębiorca może skorzystać.
