İşgörenlerin Öznel İyi Olma Düzeylerinin Farklı Sosyo-Demografik Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi: Banka Çalışanları Üzerinde Bir Araştırma

Abstract
The aim of the research is to determine whether the subjective well-being of individuals who are working in the banking sector differ according to some demographic variables (working bank type, sex, age, marital status, working time) in the workplace. The research is a field investigation which is used survey technique. Data which is obtained from public and private sector banking employees in Burdur province were analyzed with a statistical program which is appropriate to aim. In the research, frequency analyses, normal distribution test, reliability analysis related to scales were used as well as independent sampling t-test which is for comparison of quantitative continuous data between two independent groups in order to identify whether employees’ subjective well-being positions differ or not, according to some demographic variables. As a result of analyses, it was not found significant discrepancy between subjective well-being positions and demographic factors like type of bank, sexuality, marital status and working time whereas significance difference was found between age factor and subjective well-being.
