ISIS: THE PROCESSES OF EMERGENCE, ESTABLISHMENT AND STATE FORMATION

Abstract
When the world is considered, most of the terrorist organizations is located in the Middle East. In this region, almost every single war or crisis contributes to the emergence of a new organization or strengthening of existing organizations. The present war environment in the Iraq and Syria has created an advantage for ISIS in terms of strengthening the organization materially and spiritually. In this article, the topics to be discussed within the context of the processes of emergence, establishment and state formation are: the strenghtening of the organization trough the use of some regional and political features; and evolution to an active power within the region; day to day transformation of ISIS as a sovereign power in wide scope of lands of Syria and Iraq; the reasons for engagement and disengagement of ISIS with Al-Queda.
