Islamic Terrorism and Global Security

Abstract
The rapid increase in the number of terrorist attacks at the turn of the century in the international dimension clearly indicates the increasing activity of terrorist groups of a religious nature, which was associated with terrorist groups of Islamic origin. The activity of these groups was focused on carrying out various types of attacks in many parts of the world, which was naturally read as conducting terrorist activities on a global scale. On one hand, terrorist attacks have created many victims among the civilian population, as well as, enormous material damage; on the other hand, Islamic fundamentalists have reached another very important goal for their cause, propaganda. Psychosis has caused a constantly growing sense of threat in most countries. As the main threat to its security and continued safe development, the international community began to perceive the terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists.
