Abstract
The article investigates the history of the development and establishment of mediation, in particular, the author’s position as to in which period of time mediation has been emerged. It have been given some examples of mediation in foreign countries and also conclusions how was spreaded this method of alternative dispute resolution and causes of this phenomenon.
