Iterative Threshold Decoding Of High Rates Quasi-Cyclic OSMLD Codes
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 4
Abstract
Majority logic decoding (MLD) codes are very powerful thanks to the simplicity of the decoder. Nevertheless, to find constructive families of these codes has been recognized to be a hard job. Also, the majority of known MLD codes are cyclic which are limited in the range of the rates. In this paper a new adaptation of the Iterative threshold decoding algorithm is considered, for decoding Quasi-Cyclic One Step Majority logic codes (QC-OSMLD) codes of high rates. We present the construction of QC-OSMLD codes based on Singer difference sets of rate 1/2, and codes of high rates based on Steiner triple system which allows to have a large choice of codes with different lengths and rates. The performances of this algorithm for decoding these codes on both Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel, to check its applicability in wireless environment, is investigated.

Tuning of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) via Customer Experience Management (CEM) using Sentiment Analysis on Aspects Level
This study proposes a framework that combines a supervised machine learning and a semantic orientation approach to tune Customer Relationship Management (CRM) via Customer Experience Management (CEM). The framework extra...
The Performance between XEN-HVM, XEN-PV and Open-VZ during live-migration
The aim of this paper is to compare the performance between three hypervisors: XEN-PV, XEN-HVM and Open-VZ. We have simulated the migration of a virtual machine by using a warning failure approach. Based on some experime...
Efficient Verification-Driven Slicing of UML/OCL Class Diagrams
Model defects are a significant concern in the Model-Driven Development (MDD) paradigm, as model trans-formations and code generation may propagate errors present in the model to other notations where they are harder to...
The Effect of Music on Shoppers’ Shopping Behaviour in Virtual Reality Retail Stores: Mediation Analysis
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of music, as an atmospheric cue of 3D virtual reality retail (VRR) stores, on shoppers’ emotions and behaviour. To complete this research, a major empirical study was co...
Cervical Cancer Prediction through Different Screening Methods using Data Mining
Cervical cancer remains an important reason of deaths worldwide because effective access to cervical screening methods is a big challenge. Data mining techniques including decision tree algorithms are used in biomedical...
