This analysis explores how the Cool Japan strategy is utilized for Japanese cultural diplomacy and soft power in Malaysia. By examining Google's consumer sentiment analysis towards familiar Japanese brands, images, icons, and products in the Malaysian market, the findings suggest that the success of Japanese cultural diplomacy efforts primarily influences Japan's positive image and perception among the Malaysian public.
