„Je chipsy i zapycha się chrupkami". Nastolatki w opiniach dzieci / “She eats chips and clogs with crisps”. Teenagers in the eyes of children
Journal Title: Etnografia. Praktyki. Teorie. Doświadczenia / Ethnography. Practices, Theories, Experiences - Year 2019, Vol 5, Issue 5
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study Health in the opinion of children . The main goal of the project was to reveal the meanings that children attribute to health, or the lack of it . During the interviews about health and healthy lifestyle, children often spoke about teen- agers . In their view, their older siblings and friends are immature and irresponsible – they eat unhealthy food and watch TV or play computer games all day . In this way, children not only internalize social ‘adult’ fears regarding adolescents, but also create and reproduce their own figure of a bad teenager .
