Three sets of instrument were used for the study the big five inventory BFI Maslach Burnout Inventory MBI and measures of workplace deviance MDW . Two hypotheses were tested in the study, which found that job burnout had a significant negative relationship with workplace deviance at r = .172 at p 0.05. Also, the dimensions of personality traits were significantly negative openness to experience, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism while, conscientious was positively.
