Job Design, Analysis and Employees’ Performance of Deposit Money Banks in FCT Abuja

Abstract
The study seeks to unravel relationships between job designs, analysis and employees’ performance of deposit money banks in FCT Abuja. A survey of 97 employees was conducted and questionnaires were distributed/collated for the purpose of generating data, was analyzed using Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient. Therein, hypotheses were tested, findings from analysis showed that job enrichment and delivery time have high positive correlation among the variables under study. The study concluded that job design/analysis has positive relationship with employees’ performance of deposit money banks in the FCT Abuja. As a result, the study opined amongst other suggestions that deposit money banks should ensure that task given to employees fits their personal characteristics and aspirations to enhance their level of performance.
