Johann Martin Pohlmann (1726–1800). Architekt epoki fryderycjańskiej

Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono dokonania zawodowe Johanna Martina Pohlmanna, architekta urodzonego w Berlinie i działającego na Śląsku w 2. poł. XVIII w., podczas rządów króla Fryderyka II. Kariera zawodowa Pohlmanna związana była z pracą na kierowniczych stanowiskach w urzędach budowlanych śląskiej kamery wojen i domen w Opolu i we Wrocławiu. Architekt, realizując królewską politykę rozwoju gospodarczego i urbanizacji przyłączonego do Prus Śląska, uczestniczył w procesie powstawania hut w dolinie rzeki Mała Panew oraz osiedli fryderycjańskich. W dorobku zawodowym Pohlmanna znalazły się również projekty obiektów użyteczności publicznej, m.in. kościołów ewangelickich. Choć twórczość Pohlmanna wpisuje się jeszcze w architekturę baroku, należy do okresu przejściowego; w obiektach jego autorstwa dostrzec można elementy klasycyzujące. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują rozwiązania projektowe osiedli fryderycjańskich w Jedlicach i Kup – zachowane obecnie fragmentarycznie kompozycje oparte na geometrii koła.
