JURY AS FORM OF DEMOCRACY: PROBLEMATIC ASPECTS

Abstract
It is taken up jury as a form of direct participation of citizens of Ukraine in process of justice. The author analyzes constitutional fundamentals of form of direct democracy and national legislation regarding the formation of jury. It is also investigated the experience of France concerning legal regulation of formation of jury as a form of democracy. This comparative legal study allowed it draw conclusions regarding the improvement of national legislation.
