Abstract
The art of medieval Azerbaijan occuppies an independent, significant place in the artistic heritage of the East, the sources of which are founded on deep layers of ancient oriental civilizations. The deepening into historical layers and cultural memory makes it possible to identify the profoundity of its roots, well-founded sense of belonging to originality, unique character of architectural culture of medieval Azerbaijan with independent creative basis.
