Kars ili ve çevresinde 0-18 yaş arası çocuklarda Hepatit A seropozitifliği

Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Kars ilindeki çocuk hastalarda şu ana kadar araştırılmamış olan hepatit A seropozitiflik oranını belirlemek, mevsimsel ilişkisini değerlendirmek, ülkemizin diğer bölgelerindeki seropozitiflik oranı ile karşılaştırmak ve epidemiyolojik çalışmalara katkı sağlamaktır. Yöntemler: Çalışma 01.01.2012 - 31.06.2014 tarihleri arasında farklı şikayetlerle Kafkas Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi ve Kars Devlet Hastanesi’ne başvuran Hepatit A ön tanılı 0-18 yaşları arasındaki çocuklarda Anti-HAV IgM ve Anti-HAV IgG düzeylerine ELISA yöntemiyle bakılarak yapıldı. Anti-HAV IgG bakılan toplam 1065 hasta ve Anti-HAV IgM bakılan toplam 1481 hasta geriye dönük olarak değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar yaş gruplarına, cinsiyete ve mevsimlere göre ki-kare trend analizi kullanılarak incelendi. Bulgular: Anti-HAV IgG seropozitifliği % 66,3 (706/1065) ve Anti-HAV IgM seropozitifliği ise %42,7 (633/1481) olarak saptandı. Mevsimsel olarak Anti-HAV IgM pozitiflik oranı Aralık-Şubat aylarında %2,4, Mart-Mayıs aylarında %3, Haziran-Ağustos aylarında %8,5 ve Eylül-Kasım aylarında %21 oranında saptandı. Sonuç: Kars İli ve çevresinde daha önce Hepatit A seropozitifliğini gösteren çalışma yoktur. Bölgemizde HAV seropozitifliği mevsimsel farklılık göstermiş olup, yüksek olarak saptanmıştır.
