Key Technology and Application Effect of High Precision Prefabricated Track for Urban Rail Transit

Abstract

[Objective] In order to thoroughly implement the national strategy of building China with a strong transportation network and the low-carbon assembly and construction concepts such as standardization, intelligence and refinement, and to address the problems of insufficient construction accuracy, outdated construction equipment, lack of maintenance methods, and poor overall life cycle systematicity caused by the current cast-in-place ballast, which is presently the main track structure in urban rail transit, it is necessary to make research on high-precision prefabricated track technology for urban rail transit. [Method] In terms of the prefabricated tracks, theoretical research and scheme design, effect experiments and verification, and online monitoring of track conditions are carried out in accordance with the overall research and development technology route of "standardized design, factory production, mechanized construction, high-precision control, and full life management", and based on the Phase II and Phase III construction projects of Shanghai Metro. The application effect of the high-precision prefabricated track is briefly introduced. [Result & Conclusion] The key technologies of prefabricated track in urban rail transit, including high-precision prefabrication and assembly technology, energy saving construction facility technology, green construction technology and intelligent monitoring technology are developed, significantly improving the quality of rail construction, rail operation and maintenance. The application of high precision prefabricated track technology improves the construction precision of track structure effectively, improves the indicators like excellent geometry, stability and smoothness of the track structure significantly. Series of trackless construction equipment saves a lot of manpower, material resources and time cost during construction. The application of track condition online monitoring system and management platform reduces the workload of manual inspection by 30%~40%, increases the maintenance efficiency by 20%~30% and the disease detection rate by 30%~40%, reducing the environmental impact of urban rail transit train operation.
