Kindi Felsefesi Bağlamında Eğitim Meselesi / The Issue of Education in the Context of Kindi's Philosophy

Abstract
Kindî is an Islamic philosopher who sheds light on the past and the present and leaves behind a serious cultural legacy. He is a scientist and thinker who is considered the founder of systematic philosophy in the history of Islamic thought and who has made significant contributions to the formation of philosophical terminology. Kindî believes that all sciences should be taught within the framework of a single purpose and a single method, using the method appropriate for them and within certain teaching programs. In this respect, education should also have its own purpose, method and program. This study is an attempt to visualize Kindî's views on education. Kindî emphasized the importance of habits and environment in education and expressed the inadequacy of information acquired through memorization without understanding and comprehension. Kindî also recommended that information be acquired through taking notes, as it can be used in the future.
