Knowledge among Children about Nutritive Value of Food and Diet

Journal Title: World Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 3

Abstract

Present study is very important because it is about two important things the one is food and nutrition, that is basic need and the second one is children, they are future of any nation. The composition of a diet vastly depends on the environmental conditions of living, religious opinions, personal preferences, food availability, economical status etc. Based on some religious or cultural believes, people tend to restrict their diets in to a narrow range of foods. Especially, some prohibit consuming meat, fish and eggs. People prefer the beliefs rather than the nutritive values of the food and diets. Here we study the knowledge about the nutritive value of food and diet among the children.
