Knowlegde Dynamics in Semantic Web Service Composition for Supply Chain Management Applications
Journal Title: Journal of Applied Quantitative Methods - Year 2010, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
Semantic Web Service technology can play a vital role in today’s changing economic conditions, as it allows business to quickly adapt to market changes. By combining individual services into more complex systems, web service composition facilitates knowledge dynamics and knowledge sharing between business partners. The proposed framework uses a semi-automatic approach as manual web service composition is both time-consuming and error-prone.

HAZARD MORAL MODELS WITH THREE STATES OF NATURE
The paper analyses a moral hazard model with three states of nature. The model is solved using as variables the informational rents and effort levels. Finally, we determine the features of the optimal contracts in asymme...
Internet Databases in Quality Information Improvement
Even though many important companies are reluctant into deploying their databases on the Internet, being too concerned about security, we would like to demonstrate that they shouldn’t be worried too much about it, but to...
DEVELOPING A PSYCHOMETRIC RULER: AN ALTERNATIVE PRESENTATION OF RASCH MEASUREMENT OUTPUT
Rasch measurement is one of the most popular analytical techniques available in the field of psychometrics. Despite the advantages of Rasch measurement, many researchers and consumers of information have noted that inter...
Upon Scheduling and Controlling Large-Scale Stochastic Network Projects
The problem of controlling large-size stochastic network projects of PERT type is considered. A conclusion is drawn that the need of proper control models for PERT projects is very important. The authors suggest aggregat...
Solving Nonlinear Optimization Problems by Means of the Network Programming Method
We suggest a new approach to solve discrete optimization problems, based on the possibility of presenting a function as a superposition of simpler functions. Such a superposition can be easily represented in the form of...
