Komentarz do publikacji „Łagodne zdarzenia niepożądane po podaniu jodowego środka kontrastującego w badaniu tomografii komputerowej”

Abstract
Artykuł dotyczy ważnego, aczkolwiek niechętnie poruszanego tematu stosowania jodowych środków cieniujących w diagnostyce obrazowej. Cieszy więc fakt podjęcia rozważań związanych z ich niepożądanym działaniem.Autorzy artykułu przedstawili wyniki swoich badań prowadzonych z użyciem środków cieniujących stosowanych w diagnostyce pacjentów za pomocą tomografii komputerowej, a konkretnie odnosili się do preparatu Ultravist.Nie może być poddany negatywnej ocenie fakt stosowania środków cieniujących mających na celu prezentację wewnętrznych struktur organizmu. Jednak definiowanie przez autorów pewnych objawów może budzić niepokój czytelników. Stąd też ten komentarz.Niewątpliwie podaż leków i.v., do których należą także środki cieniujące, wiąże się z szybkim ich działaniem, w związku z czym mogą wystąpić również wczesne reakcje niepożądane. Reakcje typu alergicznego mogą dawać objawy ze strony układu sercowo-naczyniowego, układu oddechowego, jak również i skóry.
