Journal Title: Biuletyn Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej - Year 2016, Vol 66, Issue
Abstract
The present publication contains an exchange of thirty letters between the Polish historian Feliks Koneczny and his Czech friend Jaroslav Bidlo written in the period 1896–1935. Their correspondence primarily concerns issues connected with the research interests of both scholars. It also touches on the subject of Polish-Bohemian political and cultural relations. Their acquaintance dated back to the nineteenth century, when Bidlo studied at the Jagiellonian University. The letters are held by the National Library in Warsaw and the Masaryk Institute at the Archive of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague.
