KRAJINA, ČLOVEK A KVALITA ŽIVOTA

Abstract
Recent years have witnessed burgeoning literature on significant changes in the landscapes and new landscapes emerging with the changing life-styles. This paper deals with the idea of sustainability and quality of life, which might refer to one of the main fac- tors for future spatial organization of landscape system. It draws on some theoretical and methodological issues in the quality of life research, and particularly discusses the interrelationship between landscape and quality of life of its inhabitants. The paper suggests that outputs of geographical research in quality of life have the potential to help decision- makers seeking to improve everyday life environment in the new landscapes.
