Abstract
This article presents the basic requirements for the movement of pedestrians and cyclists on the transport space dedicated to them. In addition, rules for shaping infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists were defined. The mobility policy and its tasks to improve transport in urban areas have also been discussed. The theoretical reflections were illustrated with examples of solutions put into operation in Radom.
