Journal Title: Journal of Tourism and Services - Year 2010, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper deals with evaluation of the possibility of using tourism to cultural, social and economic prosperity of the region where the wealth of monuments and environmental quality are decisive for his character. The aim is to design innovative products and marketing strategy guidelines. The basis is to present a vision of Francis Anthony Špork which gave rise to the unique Baroque work, largely extened today. Špork´s link is reflected both in the core product design and the individual sub-products, focusing on defined segments of potential visitors. Usage of Špork heritage for the concept of cultural destinations, collaborative decision makers from business, public-legal and non-profit sector, gives the opportunity for sustainable destinations, makes it possible to create a new image of destination resting on originality, quality of cultural and natural environment and social acceptance of social values. Utilization of partnership for financing the strategy hand in hand with multiplier effect of tourism in the implementation phase ensures the sustainable development of the heritage site and the entire destination.
